Our staff at Mary’s Tack and Feed fit hundreds of boots a year.
We fit everyone, from the rider who only plans to school and wants a comfortable working tall boot to the most discriminating competitors showing in the Equitation division.

I own 2 myler shank bits. One is a level 3 and the other level 2. My horse throws his head around with level 3 but not with level 2. Is it possible level 3 is bit is interfering with his pallet?
Hi Jim, Since most all of the level 3 bits are ports and if your horse has a low palate it is possible. I wonder what your level 2 mouthpiece is that he likes better.

Hi, Is it the same for a regular English girth?
Yep! sometimes it's tricky to hold the tape measure flat, so you can always use a piece of bailing twine. Just cut it where the tounge hits the top of the buckle on each side, and measure the twine.

Riding bareback is more badass then riding in a saddle! Your legs become much stronger :) but if you really want a saddle save up your money to buy one or a bareback pad

Where do I measure on a roper cinch? From the closest side of the ring or furthest part of the ring?
